http://www.livingstonmontana.com/ My mom's house is between Livingston and Gardiner, so Livingston is about 30 minutes drive from my mom's house, and about 60 minutes from Yellowstone National Park.

http://www.nps.gov/yell/planvisit/services/index.htm Yellowstone National Park services (there's a hotel in Mammoth Hot Springs, which is about 30 minutes from where my mom's house is).

http://www.gardinerchamber.com/ Gardiner has several hotels too, and is just north of Yellowstone's boundary, about 30 minutes away from my mom's house.

All have links to local camping, hotels, and other info about the area.

If it were me, I'd try to stay at Chico Hot Springs, since that's real near my mom's house (and is a cool place to stay) or I'd stay in Gardiner or Mammoth Hot Springs (which is inside Yellowstone National Park) since we'll be passing by both of those to go into Yellowstone and can just drop by and pick you up.

Or this place looks good:

The Wikiup Bed and Breakfast

100 year old Victorian house. Magnificent view of Emigrant Peak from screened veranda. 4 bedrooms. Fishing, hiking, horseback riding, TV, internet access, large lawn, creekside, in grove of cottonwoods. Look for the giant mushroom rocks on the highway!
